So for a while, Jack and I have been trying to save for a house. We’ve seen 2 different mortgage advisers, we’ve opened our own Help To Buy ISAs and we’ve researched every possible Government Scheme for first time buyers available. We’ve saved and saved and finally feel like we could be getting somewhere! However, there are downsides to all the saving. Saving £200 into a Help to Buy ISA each month is great, and it realistically sets a precedent for the future of my saving habits, even though it has obviously had a big impact on how we live our lives!

So, if you’re anything like me, Halloween is a lot more fun than Christmas. I’ll admit it, there are aspects of Christmas I can’t stand. Aspects I full on loath. And aspects I just have a minor dislike for. Altogether, Christmas is rubbish. Yes the drinking is really fun, the eating too, and some of the socializing is good (some of it mandatory), but other than that, I just don’t get the Christmas hype. So I thought I’d do a how to for those who have a similar out look on the festivities, and how you can make the holiday more bearable for you, and yourself more bearable for those around you!

Ok so now I’ve turned 27, I need to stop believing I’m just ‘mid-twenties’, but in fact, approaching my late twenties *hides under a blanket*.
